Abstract
NEIKER and the rural development association ADR Lautada held a conference focused on the baking quality of organic cereal crops in the Llanada Alavesa region. This event is part of the Lanirina project, which aims to cover the entire value chain of organic cereal cultivation in this region, from producers to end consumers. Specifically, high-value organic flour will be produced and products made from this raw material will be developed, such as bread, pastries, and healthier pizza dough.
Description
Lanirina is a cooperative project developed in the Llanada Alavesa region. Its objective is to generate small milling activities linked to organic cereal production for short-circuit marketing, acting as an economic and social driver for the region through a new collaborative business model.
Objectives
Boosting the value chain through the cultivation of organic cereals in the Llanada Alavesa, their transformation into flour, and the production of organic foods for short-circuit distribution. Creating a collaborative network between the various stages of the organic cereal value chain, which will lay the foundation for new production models in the region.
