VALORACV investigates and transmits to society the cultural, social and gastronomic value of the date palm
The project seeks to offer scientific and technological solutions to the undervalued and underutilized resources generated in the Elche palm grove through comprehensive valorization, thereby generating resources of industrial, agricultural and food interest that promote sustainability and the circular economy
It has been demonstrated that the Elche date palm can become a sustainable and high-value resource by generating functional flours, natural sweeteners, and bioplastics, utilizing waste for compost and biomass, and boosting the local and circular economy.
