Description

This Task Force studies the classification of soils used in rice production areas and plans to test the shelf life of locally grown varieties.

Other activities are also planned, such as the development of rice-based beer (including brewing the beer, designing the bottle label, and its commercial launch); market research, which includes identifying consumer profiles and consumption habits, as well as capturing new ideas; the development of flavored rice; and the design of new packaging for the export brand, flavored rice, and beer.

Objectives

The objectives of this group are:

  • Improve food quality and increase the added value of rice grown by our producer partners.
  • Improve the integration of the production sector into the food chain.
  • Promote the diversification of the rural population's economy.
  • Maintenance of the ecosystem and rich biodiversity.
