The main added value that will be achieved is the availability of a tool that allows users to quickly and easily obtain information on the possible presence of undesirable substances in the raw materials used for feed production.
This will allow companies to take precautions and adopt measures early to minimize risks to the food chain and the negative economic consequences for the company or potential liabilities.
It will also be possible to avoid the immobilization of merchandise in the event of a prohibited substance alert, since by quickly obtaining the information, it will be possible to avoid purchasing them and thus obtain a supply of raw materials from other sources.
- Digitalization: a digital platform capable of storing and sharing data related to the quality system, and designing an effective and agile digital communication system for alert management.
- Risk assessment of each hazard based on the raw material and expected use, integrating the links in the chain.
- Know the level of safety related to the presence of undesirable substances in raw materials for feed production.
- Create the basis for a common protocol for supplier approval.
- Communication and dissemination of the results obtained.
