Description

Technology transfer and digitalization of direct marketing processes for the commercialization of food produced by small agricultural and livestock producers in the national hospitality and catering sector.

Objectives
  • Increasing sustainability in the production sector and the Horeca channel
  • Reducing the “Environmental and Climate Footprint” by promoting short marketing channels
  • Improve marketing and advertising strategies for the most vulnerable small producers and for small establishments in the Horeca channel
  • Promote sustainable food consumption and facilitate the transition to healthy and sustainable diets
  • Establish anonymous information systems to determine the level of satisfaction of the end consumer, clients of the Horeca establishments involved in the project.
  • Contribute to the digitalization of small and medium-sized producers and individual catering establishments
Results
  • Provision of a digital platform for producers and the Horeca channel to facilitate direct contact between small and medium-sized producers and Horeca establishments
  • Establishing direct contact between supplier and customer with the possibility of searching for local products or, failing that, direct shipping without intermediaries
  • Creation of the "Sabe a Más" seal available to the Horeca channel and a digital platform showcasing producers with direct contact with customers.
  • Promotion of Spanish agricultural products based on the Mediterranean diet and tools for direct contact between suppliers, producers, and customers, making distribution more sustainable.
  • Providing both sectors with a free digital platform for direct contact between them for the purchase and sale of products (https://app.goagrochef.com/)
  • Identifying digital barriers and enablers at both ends of the value chain
