Biodiversity Foundation Project: The transition to eco-gastronomic restoration as a tool for job creation

Description

This training project offers four in-person courses to improve the employability of unemployed people within the restaurant industry, focusing on the integration of organic foods into menus and knowledge of new diets and healthier eating habits. The project offers 48-hour theoretical and practical training for unemployed people, providing a comprehensive program that allows them to fill various positions within the kitchen. Four autonomous communities have been chosen based on the importance of tourism and restaurant activities in these regions, in order to increase job opportunities. During the project, a job bank will also be launched to channel the demands of professionals undergoing training and those of companies in the restaurant sector.

Objectives

The project's goal is to promote job creation in the restaurant sector by fostering the transition toward eco-gastronomy, based on the need to offer healthier menus and increase the consumption of organic foods.
