Description
The application of sustainable technologies will allow water to be reused for longer periods, as they eliminate contaminating microorganisms and reduce the organic matter present in the water, allowing its continuous use in recirculation systems in the agri-food industry.
Results
New process to regenerate and improve water quality in fruit processing plants. Proven effectiveness of EPOX water in washing stone fruit, preserving its physicochemical and microbiological characteristics compared to the traditional use of water sanitized with sodium hypochlorite.
