The training focuses on the study of the adaptation of resistant varieties and some of the main commercial varieties to local conditions, pest and disease control, the development of practical itineraries to reduce crop rotation and obtain fruit of good size and quality, and the management of weed cover to limit competition from spontaneous vegetation and promote the conservation of natural enemies.
It's about providing management alternatives that allow for the highest quality apples, produced in a way that respects the environment and health, within an agroecological framework.
The project's objective is to promote entrepreneurship and improve employability in the organic apple production sector in Natura Network areas, and to expand and improve the cultivation and quality of organic apple production in Natura Network areas.
