Abstract
Garaia S. Coop., along with Barrenetxe SCL, Artandi IV SL, and the Neiker technology center, have participated in the "LECHUGA R-0" project with the aim of eliminating phytosanitary residues in lettuce cultivation and increasing the percentage of dry matter to minimize food waste in the fresh cut.
Description
To achieve this goal, combinations of agronomic techniques have been tested under different conditions until a Zero Residue Management Manual was developed.
Objectives
Elimination of phytosanitary residues in lettuce cultivation, promotion of organic farming practices, and increasing the percentage of dry matter to minimize food waste in fresh-cut products.
