The main objective is to improve the economic performance of all olive farms and facilitate their restructuring and modernization, particularly with a view to increasing their market share and orientation, as well as agricultural diversification through the digitalization of the sector and the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies using a digital twin.

Currently, there are no effective, dedicated management systems for the production, processing, and packaging of oils in olive oil mills. Even fewer exist with the potential to include advanced management, real-time monitoring, and communication with farmers and the public administration.
