Description

This Operational Group was created by the European Cheese Route association, with the aim of developing innovation and tourism training tools for the cheese sector.

It aims to define and test an innovative diversification model for the cheese sector based on experiential tourism strategies to improve short-term marketing channels and thus increase added value in production.

Objectives

Results
  • A results report will be prepared to facilitate the implementation of improvements for cheese companies interested in establishing experiential tourism services.
  • Preparation of a diagnosis of the current situation of cheese companies in relation to short marketing channels and the tourism product.
  • Manual for implementing innovative tourism products that increase the added value of cheese companies.
  • Creation of the "European Cheese Route" tourism quality seal.
