Description
This task force will focus on studying the possibility of introducing stunning animals at slaughter using inert gas mixtures containing low concentrations of carbon dioxide.
This method is already widely used for slaughtering pigs and poultry, and its main advantage is that it reduces stress in the animals before slaughter, resulting in higher-quality meat.
