Operational Group: Design of a tool based on new technologies for the transfer of R&D&I results in the dairy sector

This Task Force aims to create a tool to identify technically and economically viable dairy product transformation processes for small farms and SMEs.

It will allow innovations to reach the dairy sector in the most disadvantaged areas through a dual approach: first, a territorial focus, seeking answers to the common demands of local entrepreneurs, and second, at the sectoral level, transferring innovations and forging networks among the various links in the chain. The processes can be implemented by local entrepreneurs through projects, boosting the affected rural areas as a whole.

The adoption of these improvements will serve to: increase the added value retained by the farm as it embarks on the industrialization and marketing phases; improve the competitiveness and viability of the dairy farm; and achieve greater independence for farmers from the industry.
