Design of a tool based on new technologies for the transfer of R&D&I results in the dairy sector

This Task Force aims to create a tool to identify dairy product transformation processes that are technically and economically viable for small farms and SMEs.

It will allow innovations to reach the dairy sector in the most disadvantaged areas in a double scenario, on the one hand with a territorial approach, seeking responses to the common demand of the local entrepreneur, and on the other hand at a sectoral level, transferring innovations and weaving networks between the different links in the chain.

The processes can be put into practice by local entrepreneurs through projects that will revitalise the affected rural areas as a whole. The adoption of the improvements will serve to: increase the added value retained by the farm when undertaking the industrialisation and marketing phases; improve the competitiveness and viability of the dairy farm and achieve greater independence for the farmer from the industry.
