The objective of the Operational Group is to develop strategies for the digitalisation of the fruit and vegetable sector, identifying barriers to technological implementation and developing tailor-made solutions that provide tools to the producer-marketer sector to improve competitiveness and its positioning in national and international markets.

The expected results of the IoT RUR Supra-autonomous Operational Group are:
- a) Reduction in water, fertilizer and phytosanitary consumption on the plots.
- b) Increase in producer profitability.
- c) Reduction of food waste and post-harvest losses in marketing.
- d) Product traceability control.
