Operational Group: Cost Reduction Through Fertilizer Management on Cattle Farms

This Task Force seeks to reduce costs on cattle farms by improving fertilizer management on the farm and eliminating water pollution problems caused by poor planning and fertilization.

The only way out for the Galician livestock sector to avoid extinction is to increase its competitiveness by reducing its production costs.

The goal is to properly manage fertilizers to increase grass/corn production per hectare, thereby reducing the farm area dedicated exclusively to corn/forage production and increasing the grazing area of the livestock farm. This will lead to a reduction in the amount of feed required for feeding.
