Description
The Foodservice Clusters and Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) Task Force has assessed the water cycle within two subsectors of the Catalan food sector.
Objectives
The objective is to characterize opportunities to generate efficient solutions, promote innovative projects in the production process and analyze the implications of the use of water resources in food products. Strategic axis based on common challenges taking into account the integral management of water, input water, process water, and waste water generated (under parameters of quality, efficiency and cost), in order to optimize the production process and obtain a more sustainable management of water, reducing the impact on the environment of the production process of the sector.
