Description

Development and implementation of technologies and innovations in surveillance in pig and cattle (extrapolable to other species) to monitor changes in different parameters for disease control in livestock)

Objectives
  • Installation of technological infrastructure on farms, configuration of software and hardware for automatic storage and deletion of videos, and development of an animal recognition and tracking algorithm based on artificial intelligence and signal processing theory.
  • Development of statistical analysis and motion reports, Development and implementation of a real-time algorithm using a standalone software application that enables the detection of changes in motion patterns and the generation of alarms.
  • Outreach activities, including results dissemination sessions.
