Description
IBERCHAIN aims to increase the economic sustainability of extensive livestock farms dedicated to the production of meat labelled under the 100% Iberian Native Breed seal.
Objectives
- Analysis of needs and requirements of the future traceability system.
- Development of the blockchain platform and NIR sensing solutions.
- Implementation of a blockchain platform to ensure the traceability of meat labelled as 100% Native Breed-Iberian.
- Technical coordination of the project.
- Dissemination and transfer of project results to the sector.
Results
- Definition of the requirements for the blockchain traceability system and the NIRS sound system.
- Programming the blockchain platform and the consumer app.
- Development of an automatic sound system and quantitative and qualitative multivariate models of the NIRS equipment.
- Implementation, start-up and validation of the traceability system.
- Financial management and project progress monitoring.
- Promotion of the project idea and dissemination of results.
