Abstract
In recent years, various experiments have been carried out involving the use of precision technologies and tools for the agricultural and livestock sector in the Basque Country, which have demonstrated the need to continue exploring this field in greater depth.
Description
This project aims to develop actions that facilitate the transfer of new technological developments to the agri-food sector and support the definition of its technological innovation strategies. To this end, it focuses on the problems generated by wildlife, especially predation incidents caused by wolves, and technologies developed specifically to facilitate the coexistence of extensive livestock farming in open pasture areas.
Objectives
The overall objective of the project is to use technological tools in extensive livestock farming to help improve the quality of life of those involved in this activity, improving the management of their livestock and providing security against potential wildlife attacks.
