Description
The main project activity of this Operational Group consists of designing a fertilization plan with variable dosages for three years, based on data obtained from the performance monitors installed on the harvester monitors.
The goal is to use existing knowledge in new precision agriculture technologies to improve the competitiveness of the agricultural sector and enhance the preservation of natural resources.
Description of activities
Field trials will be conducted over three years, comparing the results obtained with those obtained on farms using traditional fertilization strategies.
Objectives
- To verify the efficiency and effectiveness of the data obtained by the combine harvester in terms of productivity, in order to subsequently carry out variable-dose fertilization on cereal crops in the "Tierra de Campos" region (Palencia).
- Attempt to justify the use of these technologies agronomically and economically.
