Huerta 4.0 - Sustainable greenhouses in cold areas

The Operational Group proposes the design and implementation of the Passive Solar Greenhouse model adapted to the climatic conditions of inland Spain for the production of local fruit and vegetable varieties with high added value, implementing 4.0 prediction and IoT technologies to improve sustainability and energy efficiency, as well as its integration into the circular economy.

It is an alternative for agricultural producers and the rural population to improve their income with a contained initial investment and reduced energy consumption, allowing them to diversify their production and de-seasonalize some crops.
