Description
This Operating Group seeks to develop bioproducts from marginal forest biomass, such as brush and forestry remains, using sustainable and innovative techniques applied throughout the value chain, such as mechanized harvesting, microwave-assisted continuous distillation, and enzymatic and supercritical hydrolysis.
Objectives
- Development of innovative biofuels and bioproducts from forest biomass with little or no utilization, such as brushwood and forestry residues, using cutting-edge techniques applied throughout the entire value chain.
