Operational Group: Identification of the water footprint on green areas

This Operational Group carries out the following tasks:

• 1. Identification of scalable parameters that allow water footprint control for grass meadows
• 2. Preparation of a classifiable relationship of water footprint patterns on different grassland characterizations
• 3. Development of assessment tools using new technologies that allow classification based on established patterns.
• 4. Measure the impact that these new management practices with additional crop information have in relation to traditional maintenance and sustainability.
• 5. Evaluate the profitability and value added for curators and maintainers who implement this innovative activity: Form working and discussion groups with specialized firms to assess interest and willingness.
