Description

The main activities proposed by the Operative Group are: to lay the foundations for determining the technical-economic viability of insect farming as a means of exploiting and highly valorizing SDRs; 2 demonstration plants for valorizing SDRs; definition of a methodology for demonstrating the reduction of resource consumption; definition of the criteria for characterizing SDRs derived from agricultural and agro-industrial activities in the CAM; definition of the criteria to be included in the Innovation Project to demonstrate the results of GHG reduction; demonstration of bioeconomic impact, jobs and sustainability.

Description of activities

The main activities planned by the Operational Group are:

  • To lay the groundwork for determining the technical and economic viability of insect farming as a means of harnessing and maximizing the value of SDR.
  • Two demonstration plants for the valorization of RDS; definition of a methodology for demonstrating resource consumption reduction; definition of the characterization criteria for RDS derived from agricultural and agroindustrial activities in the CAM region.
  • Definition of the criteria to be included in the Innovation Project to demonstrate GHG reduction results.
  • Demonstration of bioeconomic impact, jobs and sustainability.
