Description

The aim is to create a multidisciplinary group of technicians, scientists, and representatives from the agricultural and forestry sectors to seek common solutions, share knowledge, and address existing problems between certain agricultural and forestry activities and biodiversity conservation. The CAP refers to the conservation of habitats and biodiversity through specific rural development measures and requirements included in the scope of cross-compliance.

The creation of the Operational Group aims to analyze the problems of biodiversity conservation generated by this activity among those involved in agroforestry management and exploitation. Experiences are provided, such as the presentation of monitoring and detection techniques for listed species susceptible to being affected by forestry work, management techniques that promote biodiversity, and the most appropriate silvopastoral seasons and techniques for carrying out forestry work in a manner that respects the conservation of habitats and protected species, taking into account productive needs.
