Innovation strategies are being applied to develop mass propagation systems for disease-resistant plants at competitive prices; plantation reengineering for their implementation and subsequent mechanized management; and the development and launch of new products, obtained through new processes, for new markets.
This Operational Group aims to reach the world of chestnut-populated lands with knowledge, science and technology, which will allow us to face current problems, and face the challenge of propagating resistant plants, innovating in products and processes to reach the market with extracts, biomolecules, essential oils, and fuel, food, and feed applications, which allow chestnut production to adapt to the challenges of the 21st century.
