Weed ecology and biology in container crops, mulch development and machinery for ultra-low volume

This Task Force was created to study the ecology and biology of the main weeds in container crops in Galicia in order to develop different combat techniques to the detriment of the traditional application of herbicides.

Combative techniques will include the development of mulches based on plant materials with allelopathic substances and the development of application equipment for container crops by direct, targeted, ultra-low volume application in order to avoid contamination from the traditional use of herbicides and to achieve more sustainable management.
