ROBOTICULTURE Operational Group
- Type Operational group
- Execution 2017
- Assigned Budget 49.291,00 €
- Scope Autonómico
- Autonomous community Galicia
- Main source of financing PEPAC 2014-2020
The objective of this Operational Group is to create an autonomous robot that will patrol the vineyard daily, cut the grass, monitor the color of the underside of the leaves, and, in case of doubt about an infection alert, will send the photo to the winemaker, requesting authorization to proceed with optimized sulphating using microdroplets from ultrasonic vaporization of the product previously deposited inside.
This vaporization will be directed to the exact location of the detected infectious process and within a programmable peripheral range. It will operate in the absence of people or animals and under climatic conditions prescribed in a memory code. It can also act as an ultrasonic booster for foliar fertilizer treatment. It will eliminate the first outbreaks of disease in the vineyard and, through early intervention methods, can save significant money on weeding and herbicides and preserve the environment.
This entire process will be powered by renewable energy and will cost nothing.
