Feasibility of incorporating heather as a marketable forest product

An Operational Group has been established with representation from most of the stakeholders involved in the heather value chain (forest managers, representatives of forest owners, forestry work companies and social entities).

In this first phase of the project, preliminary studies have been carried out based on the information provided by each of the members of the Operative Group with the advice of external experts who would theoretically demonstrate the viability of the project to incorporate heather as a marketable forest product and which will serve as a basis for carrying out a pilot test.
