Operational Group: Feasibility of incorporating heather as a marketable forest product

An Operational Group has been established with representatives from most of the stakeholders involved in the heather value chain (forest managers, representatives of forest owners, forestry companies, and social organizations).

In this first phase of the project, preliminary studies were conducted based on information provided by each member of the Operational Group, with the advice of external experts. These studies would theoretically demonstrate the viability of the project to incorporate heather as a marketable forest product and serve as a starting point for conducting a pilot test.
