PROBIOSEP. Production of biofertilizers from livestock manure using advanced separation systems

The Operative Group is developing the PROBIOSEP project. In parallel with the strategy of integrating manure management and organic fertilisation for sustainable agriculture in Europe, it aims to valorise the fractions resulting from the filtration of anaerobically digested slurry as a fertiliser, as an economically sustainable outlet for the excess N from manure. The quality of the products is assessed and their physicochemical conditions are adapted to make transport to areas that can be fertilised correctly viable.
