Description
The new fertilization model being developed by the Department of Agriculture will establish new obligations for manure management, some of which are already in place, and which undoubtedly entail a change in the current management of livestock manure.
Objectives
The aim is to establish an operational group to carry out pilot projects that validate the innovations considered most useful for addressing existing challenges:
- GDN Application: to develop and modify management plans.
Preliminary Annual Declaration (PAD). It will replace management plans. - Annual statement of completed management (DAR): It will replace the management books and the annual report.
- Manure treatment: mandatory for farms located in ZADER zones (> 25,000 kg N).
- GPS and automatic data logging: transport over 10 km.
- Applications: conditions for the application of the liquid fraction in irrigation.
- Machinery: Obligation of hanging tubes, conductivity meter and calibration record.
- Composting: allows capacity to be reduced by up to 25%.
- N reduction through feeding.
- Management centers: they will replace joint plans
