The Task Force's main objective is to improve the competitiveness and, consequently, the profitability of production activities throughout the entire agri-food chain, paying special attention to quality to provide added value to products. When defining and implementing improvement policies, the areas where the greatest challenges have been identified are:

• Flow of information between the different actors.
• The difficulties in drawing conclusions based on available data, given the dispersion of information systems.
• The excessive effort required to integrate and coordinate the activities of the various actors. This is necessary, since the actions of each influence those of the others.
