The main objective of the Operational Group is to improve the competitiveness and, consequently, the profitability of production activities throughout the entire agri-food chain.

All this, paying special attention to quality, with the aim of providing added value to the products. When defining and implementing improvement policies, the points where the greatest difficulties have been detected are:

• Flow of information between different actors.
• The difficulties in drawing conclusions based on the data available, given the dispersion of information systems.
• The excessive effort required for the integration and coordination of the activities of the different actors. This is necessary, since the actions of each of them influence those of the rest.
