Description

Cork is an endemic product of our region, and its industry does not have the competitiveness and natural leadership that it deserves, thus wasting opportunities for wealth generation, employment, greater dissemination of our culture and values, our own innovative capacity and leadership, and improving the quality of our soils and environment, among others.

With this project, the Operative Group aims to help correct these circumstances by focusing on key actions to be taken, starting with the area of necessary specialized training, both technical and business management applied to the cork industry in the different processes, generating professionals, in each phase of the chain, as a stimulus to achieve a stable, competitive and, why not, leading industry, in which, in addition, in collaboration with the knowledge agents involved, there is continuous ad hoc R&D that consolidates this strong industry, in growth, creator of value, employment and wealth, mainly, in rural areas.

It is planned to develop an action plan for the development of specific studies and specific qualifications with the help of entities, both in the business field and in the field of agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System.
