Description

Cork is a product endemic to our region, whose industry lacks the competitiveness and natural leadership it deserves. This wastes opportunities for wealth creation, employment, greater dissemination of our culture and values, our own innovative capacity and leadership, and the improvement of the quality of our soils and environment, among other opportunities.

With this project, the Operational Group aims to help correct these circumstances by focusing on key actions to be taken, starting with the necessary specialized training, both technical and business management applied to the cork industry in the different processes, generating professionals in each phase of the chain, as a stimulant to achieve a stable, competitive and, why not, leading industry, in which, in collaboration with the knowledge agents involved, there is continuous ad hoc R&D that consolidates this strong, growing industry, creator of value, employment and wealth, mainly in rural areas.

Objectives

An action plan is planned for the development of specific studies and specific degrees with the support of entities, both in the business sector and in the Andalusian Knowledge System.
