On January 23, 2026 , the Master in Olive Growing and Olive Oil Technology will host a presentation dedicated to the Simbioliva Operational Group , which will be held from 10:30 to 12:00 in Building C4 of the Rabanales Campus , belonging to the University of Cordoba .
The session will be led by Dcoop , who will offer a practical overview of how a second-tier cooperative operates within the olive sector. Through this presentation, students will gain firsthand knowledge of the organizational, economic, and production model of these cooperatives, which are key to the structure of the olive oil sector.
During the presentation, the Simbioliva Operational Group will also be showcased as an example of applied innovation, demonstrating an alternative approach to utilizing olive pomace based on research and the development of sustainable solutions. This initiative highlights the role of operational groups as drivers of change and the valorization of olive grove byproducts.
