Organization
The Food Innovation and Sustainability Group (GIS) is organizing a new edition of the international forum on the agri-food sector "Feeding The World: 10 years of sustainable innovation", which will be held on December 3 in Madrid at the Banco Sabadell Auditorium (C/ Serrano, 71) from 09:00 to 14:00.
This annual event, held since 2015, has already attracted several professors from Wageningen University, staff from the European Commission, and representatives from other international organizations. It has become a leading forum for innovation and sustainability in Spain. Its main objective is to support companies and institutions committed to innovation in the agri-food sector, particularly to ensuring that this innovation reaches society and to helping integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This annual event brings together leading companies, institutions, and individuals involved in R&D&I across the entire food chain in Spain, and this year's theme is "The Agri-food Sector at a Crossroads: Sustainability vs. Profitability." The day will address crucial topics such as the digital transformation of businesses today and its implications for the green future ahead, as well as its impact on more efficient and sustainable production models.
