Description
DESCRIPTION: Sustentarnos consists of 18 actions (training and advice) that, undertaken at a local scale, allow the generation of centers of adaptation to change in three predominantly agricultural autonomous communities: Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia and Murcia.
Description of activities
The training will include four topics that bring new markets and initiatives closer to the agricultural world:
- Biodiversity.
- Soil conservation and water management.
- Short channels of ecological marketing.
- Land stewardship. As a complement, experimental visits will be made to farms that have already implemented these measures.
Finally, advice will be provided to farmers who decide to begin using these techniques.
Objectives
To train agricultural professionals in sustainable agriculture techniques that enable them to adapt their production model to new green economy markets, thereby promoting the socioeconomic and environmental sustainability of rural areas.
