Biodiversity Foundation AgroZero Project: Ecological transition of the agri-food sector

It is also essential that every company in the sector has a dedicated ecological transformation figure responsible for integrating biodiversity into business management and processes to make more efficient use of natural resources. AgroZero aims to act as a mediator in this transition.

The AGROZERO Program seeks to foster employment in economic activities linked to the green economy, promoting social innovation with a positive environmental impact, and fostering the creation and growth of green businesses. It specifically focuses on improving the skills and qualifications of self-employed and employed workers in sustainability issues. Only for workers and self-employed workers in the agri-food sector and its auxiliary services in the Community of Castilla-La Mancha and the Region of Murcia.

Objectives

AgroZero's overall objective is to improve the skills of employees in the agri-food sector and its auxiliary services to strengthen their resilience by promoting sustainability and eco-innovation, and reducing their environmental and climate footprint.
