- Type Project
- Scope Autonómico
- Autonomous community Extremadura
- Main source of financing NextGenerationEU

Description
Biopesticide-based solutions as an alternative to synthetic chemicals: biological control agents, allelopathic bioproducts, and agricultural and agri-food industry byproducts or residues with biocidal potential. Specific soil biodisinfection techniques for the control of weeds and soilborne pathogens.
Results
Evaluation of the bioherbicidal potential of rockrose essential oil and its phytotoxicity (SEMh Congress 2024). Comparison of the fungicidal effect of citronella, clove, and cinnamon essential oils on soil and wood fungi (SEF Congress 2024). Evaluation of their phytotoxicity. Determination of ED50 and ED90 of liquid byproducts obtained by liquefaction and hydrothermal carbonization of agricultural waste against phytopathogenic fungi. Comparison of the effect of biocidal plants on the inhibition of phytopathogenic fungal growth in vitro. Procedure for the selection of allelopathic crops against rice weeds. Evaluation of the effect of crop rotation on Echinochloa spp. in rice fields, in order to optimize management in integrated systems.
