Description
With the aim of improving food safety, an advanced lighting system will be implemented to improve the accuracy and efficiency of real-time detection of pit fragments in peaches on a conveyor belt.
Results
Prototype and operational test bench. Improvements to the halogen lighting system: Increased light intensity. Greater uniformity and image stability. Improved lighting system cooling. Adoption of corrosion-resistant materials. Improvements to the LED system: Validation of the halogen solution in a real production environment.
