Úbeda hosts the VI National Congress of Masters and Operators of Olive Mills 2026

Next Saturday, April 18, 2026 , the city of Úbeda , a World Heritage Site and undisputed leader in the olive oil sector, will once again become the essential meeting point for olive oil professionals. The 6th National Congress of Masters and Operators of Olive Mills (#CongresoAlmazaras) will bring together hundreds of masters, operators, technicians, researchers, and specialized companies at the historic Hospital de Santiago .

Organized by the Spanish Association of Masters and Operators of Olive Mills —which already has over 600 members worldwide and over 100 collaborating companies— together with Interempresas , a leading publisher in B2B communication and responsible for the Almazaras magazine, this biennial meeting has established itself as one of the major professional benchmarks in the sector, with more than 1,500 attendees in its latest editions.

The congress program will address the issues of greatest concern to olive mill owners and operators, including an analysis of the recently concluded harvest, technical challenges, advancements in machinery, new processing solutions, and trends in food quality and safety. In addition, the participation of top-level speakers , whose experience, combined with that of the attending professionals and companies, will make the event a unique forum for knowledge exchange and technical updates .

The organizing committee has once again chosen Úbeda as the venue thanks to the strong institutional support of the Úbeda City Council , the Jaén Provincial Council and the “Olive Grove and Oil” Interpretation Center , which allows for greater social and media exposure for a congress that continues to grow edition after edition.
