LAMBDEED. Implementation of Galician lamb production systems with integrated management. Use of differentiated feed

The general objective of this Operational Group is the implementation of lamb production systems in various sheep farms in the different areas of Galicia involved, through integrated management, and with a view to standardizing production and stably meeting market needs.

The specific objectives are to characterise the meat and the carcass, to define a differentiated diet that results in improved product quality, to design and adapt an organisation system for shepherds, to analyse the life cycle and carbon footprint of the different production systems defined, thereby encouraging the reduction of CO2 emissions and supporting mountain areas (where a large part of the Galician sheep population is located).
