This training course aims to address the breeding of frogs and insects as highly efficient, low-environmental-impact protein sources. Production techniques, sustainable management practices, and applications in animal and human food will be presented, highlighting how these ecosystems can serve as a model for more sustainable and resilient agri-food practices aligned with bioeconomy principles. Frog and insect farming can be integrated in a complementary way, leveraging natural synergies to produce highly efficient proteins with a low environmental impact.
