Technical innovations in machinery for crop management
Description
Registration is open until October 5 for the online course "Technical Innovations in Machinery for Crop Management" from the University of Córdoba, which will be held on October 6, 2025. This specialized training is part of the Digitalization Strategy for the Agri-Food, Forestry, and Rural Environment Sector , promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food.
The objective of the course is to present the latest technologies applied to the control and automation of agricultural machinery , with special attention to woody crops, the management of inputs (fertilizers and phytosanitary products) through variable dosage (VD) , as well as advances in harvesting, sensors and agricultural robotics .
Program
The course will consist of a 2-hour online synchronous session on October 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM , with two presentations:
- Technical innovations in machinery for the management of herbaceous crops – Constantino Valero Ubierna (1 h). 
- Technical innovations in machinery for the management of woody crops – Francisco Márquez (1 h). 
Skills to be acquired
- Basics: autonomy in learning and capacity for continuous updating. 
- General: application of knowledge to solve problems in real-life contexts in the agri-food sector. 
- Transversal: use of ICT for analysis and decision-making. 
- Specific: mastery of agricultural machinery management technologies, efficient distribution of inputs, and tracking and traceability systems within the agricultural digitalization process.
