Course Objectives

This course develops and addresses in depth, and in a rational manner, the most important aspects of olive cultivation, describing all the factors that influence this agroecosystem. It covers various technical aspects, including topics dedicated to the most commonly used plant material (varieties and rootstocks), fertilization, planting, weed control and the use of cover crops, pruning, phytosanitary control of physiological disorders that have recently emerged in the field, olive oil and table olive technology, etc.

The course is aimed at both professional farmers and field technicians, as well as students and all those professionals related to olive growing.
