GlobalGAP (IFA) v.6 protocol course. Fruits and vegetables: Contents and certification processes OPEN ENROLLMENT
Description
This training activity is aimed at ACQUIRING THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND KEYS TO THE GLOBALG.AP IFA SCHEME, version 6 and OBTAINING THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATION TO CARRY OUT INTERNAL AUDITS OF QMS and handling centres, as well as internal audits of production areas.
The GLOBALG.AP Certificate, also known as the Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) Standard, covers Good Agricultural Practices for agricultural production, aquaculture, livestock and horticulture.
In this new version, GLOBALG.AP has published two aligned editions of its standard, one called SMART that has all the spirit of its IFA standards and another GFS designed for those suppliers that need a standard recognized by GFSI.

RECIPIENTS
Producers, Professionals and Agricultural Advisors, Quality Managers and Technical Staff of Companies, Teachers and students of related careers (Agronomists, Food Engineers, Agricultural Technicians, etc.).
GOALS
- To make known the requirements of the GLOBALG.AP (IFA) protocol in its version 6.
- Know the differences between the SMART version of the standard and the GFS version (recognized by GFSI)
- Provide information on the certification process and the general rules of the scheme
- Provide the necessary knowledge and acquire the qualification to carry out internal audits of SGS and handling centres, as well as internal audits of production areas
CONTENTS
The course to be taught will be based on revision 6 of the GLOBALGAP protocol, and the contents will be:
- UNIT 1: Introduction to GLOBALG.AP
- UD 2: General Regulations GLOBALG.AP IFA v6
- UD 3: GLOBALG.AP IFA Principles and Criteria version 6 for fruits and vegetables
- Unit 4: Rules for producer groups and multi-site producers with SGC in GLOBALG.AP version 6 SMART and GFS
- UD 5: Internal audits and internal field audits
METHODOLOGY
The course will be taught online through the training platform www.formacionagronomos.es .
The course will last 40 hours.
Students will have access to a tutor specialized in the subject, forums on the platform and an email address available to answer questions.
The course will be divided into Thematic Units. At the end of each Thematic Unit, the student will have to complete an assessment that must be sent to the tutor for marking. The student's final score will be determined based on these assessments. In order to receive a final assessment, the student must have completed all the assessments.
TITLE/CERTIFICATE
At the end of the course, students who pass the evaluation and have completed the syllabus will receive a certificate of completion issued by the Andalusian Foundation of Agricultural Engineers.
