Digitalization of Precision Agriculture and Agriculture 4.0 in Villalón de Campos

On October 23 and 24, 2025 , the company iRiego New Generation SL organizes the second edition of the course “A2 – Digitalization of Precision Agriculture, Agriculture 4.0” .
The course will be held at the Villalón de Campos Agricultural Chamber (C/ Constitución, 25, Ground Floor) and will last a total of 16 hours spread over two intensive sessions, starting at 8:00 a.m. Registration is open to all professionals interested in acquiring advanced skills in digitalization and technologies applied to the agricultural sector.
A complete and practical program
The training will address the pillars of precision agriculture and Agriculture 4.0 in a theoretical and practical manner, including real-world field demonstrations and simulations using state-of-the-art equipment.
Matchday 1 – October 23
During the first day, participants will learn about the main digital technologies applied to farm management , with modules focusing on:
- GPS and auto-guidance as the basis for precision agriculture.
- Land mapping , for the digitalization and spatial analysis of farms.
- ISOBUS technology , which enables communication between tractors and implements.
- Implement management and variable rate (VRT) applications .
- Agricultural web applications for remote management, real-time monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
The event will also include a networking luncheon , designed to encourage the exchange of experiences among attendees.
Matchday 2 – October 24
The second day will feature practical field demonstrations , where participants will be able to see GPS, auto-guidance, mapping, ISOBUS, and VRT technologies in action, as well as learn about maintenance solutions and troubleshooting the most common issues.
