Basic course in organic livestock farming 7th Ed.

Modality: Online

Description

Organic livestock farming has a significantly smaller presence within the organic sector than organic agriculture, in terms of farms, operators, and processing industries. Despite its lesser importance in the Valencian Community compared to other autonomous communities, and its smaller economic impact and number of operators compared to organic agriculture, we felt it necessary to develop a separate course from that on organic agriculture, due to the complexity of the regulations governing organic animal production.

Training in these areas is necessary not only to empower current and future farmers, but also to meet training requirements. Therefore, the Technology Transfer Service, the competent body for agricultural training, is offering this self-paced online course to ensure that as many interested people as possible can be trained in this area and that current or future organic farmers can receive the required training.
