Description of activities
The project will focus on adult educators (project users) and vulnerable groups in rural areas (project beneficiaries) through:
- To develop the skills of adult educators who deal with project beneficiaries.
- To produce ICT-based educational tools and methods that adult educators will use with vulnerable groups in rural areas to develop their skills and guide them toward social entrepreneurship based on the use of mycological resources.
- Test the developed tools in real educational contexts.
Objectives
Rural poverty and limited access to education for vulnerable groups often constitute an added disadvantage to life in rural settings. The FUNGIPRENEURS project seeks to support the social inclusion of vulnerable groups in rural areas by raising environmental awareness about the importance of fungi to ecosystems and the commercial value of mycological resources, promoting behavioral change, the development of ecological skills, and responsible and sustainable social entrepreneurship.

- Online course for adult educators.
- E-learning platform.
- Training route based on gamification and roadmapping methodologies.
- Toolkit for use by adult educators with vulnerable groups in rural areas.
- Pilot tests in Spain, Portugal, Austria and Cyprus.
- Intangible results such as environmental awareness and greater motivation among beneficiaries to learn.
