DESCRIPTION: CHANGE MAKERS is an initiative to support the improvement of the employability of young women through simulation processes, employing agile Lean Startup – Scrum methodologies and collaborative project-based learning (collaborative economy), with the aim of acquiring a qualification in specialized auditing of production chains (circular economy 2.0), so that participants consider it as an essential qualification that will integrate them into the workforce. The European Commission's Europe 2020 Growth and Jobs Strategy analyzes policy measures aimed at promoting the employability of young women in several countries. Its notable objectives include promoting an entrepreneurial spirit and culture; providing information, advice, guidance, and training to young people with potential for access to the labor market.
In line with the above, CHANGE MAKERS is organized into THREE phases of action (following the measures provided for in the Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Strategy):
- PHASE I: IMPROVING INTERMEDIATION
- PHASE II: IMPROVING EMPLOYABILITY
- PHASE III: IMPROVING RECRUITMENT
THEME: The theme of the project is the reduction, reuse and recycling of sustainable agricultural and livestock waste.
The project aims to improve employability through a circular economy 2.0 training program, where users become changemakers who optimize the value chain of companies (in the agri-food sector) and thereby achieve job placement.
The percentage of women participating in the project will be 75%, while the percentage of participation of other priority groups (the sum of all other groups except women) will be 25%.
At least 25% of the recipients will find employment.
The project will have an impact on the Natura 2000 Network.
