Biodiversity Foundation Engrana Project: Collective strategies to scale and consolidate companies in the agri-food sector

Description

The Engrana project is a training program supported by the Empleaverde Program of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge and co-financed by the European Social Fund. It is organized by Germinando, a non-profit cooperative that works in research, consulting, and entrepreneurship support, with extensive experience in national projects related to local food systems, agroecology, and the social economy.

Engrana has four lines of action: training, consulting, learning communities, and meetings. The four lines of action total 253 hours (147 online and 106 in-person), divided into 10 mixed activities, three of which are distance learning. It is delivered in five modules that will address administrative, bioterritorial, and economic topics, among others. Among the training activities to be offered, the Learning Communities (CAP) stand out. These initiatives constitute spaces for collective innovation and aim to guide participants on common needs such as joint marketing or collective logistics centers. The goal is to train 70 entrepreneurs (60 in the Community of Madrid and 10 in Extremadura).

Those who enroll in Engrana will also enjoy inspiring meetings where they can learn in detail about national and European projects to enhance their businesses. Planeta Alecrim, from Portugal, and Fablim, from France, will contribute their expertise to provide innovative tools to participants in the training program. The training is free.
